How to Charm a Man With Your True Feminine Power of Attraction!

January 11th, 2009 by admin
David Roppo asked:

A Woman that exudes Feminine Grace is proud of herself. She respects herself and others. She is aware of who she is. She neither seeks definition from the person she is with, nor does she expect them to read her mind. She is quite capable of articulating her needs. A Woman that exudes Feminine Grace is hopeful.

She is strong enough to make all her dreams come true. She knows Self love, therefore she gives love. She recognizes that her love has great value, but offers her love unconditionally without expectation. A Woman that exudes Feminine Grace has a dash of inspiration and a touch of endurance. Her self confidence allows her to inspire others to reach the potential God gave them.

She knows her past and understands that it can’t be changed. She lives in the present, and moves toward what the future holds. A Woman that exudes Feminine Grace knows God. She knows that with God the world is her stage and she is the writer. She does not live in fear of the future because of her past. Instead, she understands her life experiences are merely lessons, meant to bring her closer to self-knowledge and unconditional love. She embraces the future and is thankful for the present.

You may be pondering at this very moment the method for obtaining such a desirable quality that men fight wars and build temples for? Can it be learned? Does it come in a pill or a magic elixir? No, none of the above! You see, feminine grace is a hidden quality that all women possess, and every man desires! And, quite honestly, it’s a matter of awakening this hidden treasure from within. You can not learn feminine grace, or be mindful of acting from the qualities that I have so eloquently described above. It must come from within!!

Awaken your Feminine Power Through Meditation!

There are various ways to practice meditation, but the end result is what’s important not the method. But, before I outline the method I prefer lets talk about the steps of preparation;

1. Choosing a quiet place to meditate.

Choose a place that is quiet and that you can make your own such as your bedroom or a study. Make sure it is a place that will be free of any and all distractions that will allow you to devote at least 20 to 30 minutes, once to two times daily. The best times are preferably, in the morning just after rising and in the evening prior to sleep. To set the mood of your space you may utilize candles, aroma’s or even meditation music. You may also create an altar so to speak, with the things that are important to you and or the things which you want to attract in your life.

2. Positioning of the body.

When choosing a body position for meditating the most essential element is keeping the back or spine straight. Try to be comfortable and physically relaxed, and try to avoid moving too much. Generally speaking most eastern philosophies teach meditation in a full lotus position. However, unless you practice yoga on a regular basis or are extremely flexible, this can be a difficult position for most westerners to accomplish. Therefore, you may practice mediation in a half lotus position (seated on the floor with the legs lightly crossed), seated on a bench preferably without a back to rest, avoiding a bent back or lying down. Remember, the main objective is to keep the back straight and to be comfortable and relaxed. If you choose the lying position, your feet should be apart and your hands at your sides away from your body slightly. Your palms should be facing upward and your index finger and thumb should be touching at their tips creating a conduit for the flow of universal life force or energy. Your mouth should open slightly and your tongue should be gently up against the roof of your mouth approximately one half inch behind your teeth. Your eyes should be relaxed and open just ever so slightly. If this is somewhat distracting at first you may close them completely. Should you choose the full lotus, half lotus position or a seated position you may place your hands palms up on your knees. Otherwise, all of the previously outlined steps apply.

3. Breathing

Breathing should be slow, controlled and should involve the abdominal area. As we age we tend to shorten our breath and we only utilize a small portion of our lung capacity. However, do not exaggerate your breathing, it should be a relaxing process and not at all labored. Inhale through the nose drawing air into the abdomen, diaphragm and then the chest. Exhale through the nostrils while lowering the abdomen, diaphragm, and finally the chest. One important point; you should practice the deep breathing above for approximately 10 full breaths then slow the breathing in an effort to reach “breathless silence.” The breathing is meant to oxygenate the body, increase the flow of energy, and aid in relaxation. However, it will not assist you in reaching a higher state of consciousness because you must obtain breathless silence to do so!

How to Meditate

After you have positioned your body begin focusing on your breathing. Do not attempt to force your breathing and above all try not to become frustrated if you lose your focus. Once you have taken 10 full breaths begin to slow the breathing down while working toward a state of breathless silence. Do not have any expectations about the outcome of this process. Expect nothing and just be!!!! Above all, do not become frustrated if you fail to shut off your mind initially. You can not expect to shut down the mind in a matter of minutes when it has been working for a lifetime. With practice and persistence the mind will quiet. When you begin to successfully accomplish quieting the mind you will notice a feeling of lightness as well as tingling sensations in the body. You may even begin to see various colors of the Chakras (7 energy centers of the body) in the location of the 6th chakra (minds eye), which is located between the brows. This is a sign that you have peeled back the layers of ego and are beginning to reach your higher consciousness. When you can hold the color violet of the Crown Chakra in your minds eye, this is proof that you have indeed made contact with your inner self!! Note: If you find it difficult to locate the minds eye try briefly staring at a lit candle for several moments prior to meditating. This will help you fixate the position of the minds eye when closing your physical eyes. However, do not try to force the appearance of the third eye; instead let the minds eye draw you to it!

Meditation Blocks

On occasion, some people experience difficulty with connecting to their true self. This occurs because of a block that is preventing them from taking a stark look at who they really are. What fears and insecurities are preventing you from wanting to know who you really are? You truly do “have nothing to fear but fear it self!” What you will find inside will be more wonderful than you can imagine, but to get there you must be willing to set your fear aside and take a leap of faith. If you are having trouble letting go try the following visualization in your meditation practice;

Imagine that you are standing on the bank of a crystal blue river with your back turned to the water. Know in your heart and your mind that you will be taken care of. Let go of your worries, all of your thoughts, all of your problems, surrender your will and fall backwards onto the river. Trust the river to take you wherever it chooses to, and know that the outcome will be wonderful. Just float on the water and be!

Finally, to be successful at meditation you must refrain from having any expectation about the fruit of your labor! The changes that will occur will be of a subtle nature, and will certainly not eclipse the parting of the Red Sea! The paradox of the situation is that if you expect nothing you will reap the benefits by leaps and bounds. So just let go and be! Your True Hidden Feminine Power is Waiting!

Feminization Hypnosis - Making You Feel Feminine From The Inside Out

January 10th, 2009 by admin
Richard Mackenzie asked:

The process that I want to talk about in this article today is Feminization Hypnosis. I know – they sound like two different subjects, however together they can lead to amazing success and always the benefactor to get the life of their dreams. If you are a Transsexual, Transvestite or are Transgender then you will understand that a process like this is long over due. So before I explain the process, I want to go into a little more detail about the subjects separately. So lets kick off and start with Feminization and then we will get down to the nitty gritty of Hypnosis.

Feminization is the process that one can go through to become more famine. If you are Transsexual, Transvestite or Transgender it is a way for you to allow your feminine attributes to flourish – allowing you can set the woman inside you free! Have you ever dreamt of just having everything just the way you want it? With feminization you can talk with a more feminine voice, walk with a more feminine step, your mind will even be ‘re-programmed’ to feel more feminine. Not only will the world see you as a woman, but you will also be secure in your femininity too.

And now on to Hypnosis – Hypnosis can be briefly described as an altered state of consciousness, just like daydreaming. While in Hypnosis, changes can be made in the part of the mind that you don’t consciously use, this is called the sub or unconscious mind. Also while in Hypnosis you will feel relaxed and comfortable and will be able to hear the hypnotists voice guide you to make the changes that you want to achieve.

Hypnosis is a perfectly natural state, as I mentioned it’s a bit like being in a daydream. You will know exactly what is going on around you, but also be so completely relaxed. Hypnotherapy is also about empowering the individual to make changes in their life.

And let’s see what happens when we put them together and we have Feminization Hypnosis. So now with the amazing new technology of Feminization Hypnosis you needn’t just feel like a woman but you could also be a woman. You have probably heard of the saying that ‘if you send the mind then the body will follow’! Well this is true, as with Feminization Hypnosis, physical changes can even happen allowing you to achieve results that will amaze you now end. Your mind is the most powerful part of you and now you can use it to reach for your dreams.

So whether you are wanting to achieve total, partial, un-forced, temporary or permanent feminization – Feminization Hypnosis is for you.

Belly Dancing and the Feminine Image

January 8th, 2009 by admin
Leyla Najma asked:

History shows us through paintings that the veil came to symbolize the untouchable and tantalizing appeal of women in the Middle East. To show just a little part of the body was alluring enough to cause men to pine for women’s affection. If we look at 19th Century paintings of various scenes of women dancing, the look of the belly dancer is quite refined. The distinctive folds in the belt or the accessories from the ankle all the way to the headpiece tell the individual story of each dancer. This is how dancers from the past to the present set themselves apart from their contemporaries.

I can remember seeing “Cleopatra” starring Elizabeth Taylor for the first time and thinking how beautiful the costumes were and how much fun they would be to dance in. “Samson and Delilah” with Hedy Lamarr is my all time favorite biblical movie and her costumes inspire me even to this day. Claudette Colberts costume in the 1934 “Cleopatra” looks like a costume of today. Hollywood had very unusual ideas about what the women from the Middle East wore. But if we look back through time the belly dance costume really hasn’t changed all that much. This really surprised me because as I was doing my research it became apparent to me that when you have a good design it’s hard to improve on it.

Recently I danced with a wonderful group of performers who were Asian dancers. Their costumes were amazing and I have to admit that I felt a little out of place in my cabaret costume. Their movements were very subtle and their gestures very soft and poetic. Which made me wonder what kind of poetry would belly dancing be? When it was time for me to perform I realized that our music really says a lot about our image. My costume was like magic because it made me feel free enough to dance and tell our story within my movements and gestures. In some ways I felt an obligation to relate to the audience that what I do as a dancer and performer is serious and respected. But I have to question why I even felt the need to defend my costume and dance form. The dancers with their movements almost seemed to speak to me teasingly asking me why I wasn’t covered more. Maybe I was just hearing my own voice questioning this. After I finished my dance the response I received overwhelmed me. It became apparent to me that because of the difference of my costume and dance the audience was able to appreciate the culture that I represented. Costuming really does make the difference for people. It’s almost as if the audience can see the story within our movements all the while watching our costumes accenting each word danced through our bodies.

Years ago when I was in Cairo I was able to see Zuhair Zaki dance live and as I look back I realize how lucky I was to have seen such a legend perform. Zuhair Zaki is the total sum of what the belly dance image is for me. Every movement told a story and helped me “hear” the music. I was taught a very good lesson that night because I saw what a masterful dancer can do with music. I also saw Zuhair Zaki become the essence of belly dance as she performed. It wouldn’t have mattered what she wore or where she was. The spirit of the dance was in her and you could see it and feel it. These are those spiritual moments that change you forever!

A few weeks later I saw Dina perform and was totally surprised at the sexual innuendos that emanated from her dance. The image of belly dance changed that night for me because I had assumed that provocative gestures were not allowed. Actually let me take it a step further, I didn’t think it was necessary. But somehow Dina made it work for her and as I watched her performance I saw that she did a wonderful job. Her sexuality never got in the way of her performance. It enhanced her movements and I understood at that moment that Dina chose to dance free of any inhibitions or restraints her world put on her.

As a modern woman I often wonder how close my image is to women back hundreds of years. Our evolution as women has never been more evident than in the belly dance world. If we look at the dance of the seven veils the removal of the veils represent seven earthly illusions that fall away with each veil. In order for us to become the total feminine archetype in myth these veils must fall from us so we can transcend into the Goddess. As with all myths I wondered what these seven veils of illusion were because I had a suspicion that we may still be portrayed within this myth today. It became apparent to me that each illusion had an opposite side to it. So here’s my version of the seven illusions.

1. The Virgin-Temptress

Many dancers have both abilities to enchant their audiences by offering the untouchable innocence of movement combined with eye contact that teases with a fleeting look.

2. Intrigue-deception

The ability to captivate our audience is a major part of our story telling but with all stories we must tell the audience that what intrigues them is only an illusion. This in itself can be perceived as a deception because we work so hard on the illusion that at moments it may become real.

3. Mother-Sex Goddess

Both of these describe the dilemma all women come across through out their careers. While we dance as women who understand what it means to carry and give life we are also expected to be proficient in the art of love. The illusion for most people is that we can be both but they want the two separate.

4. Wise woman-Childlike Innocence

The knowledge a dancer puts in her performing sets her apart from the average dancer. Knowledge is power and our movements speak volumes in regards to our history. The illusion here is that while we dance with experience our audiences to a certain degree want a virtuous dancer that will give them an unsullied look at our dance.

5. Wife-Mistress

In our dance we are compelled to perform from places of the heart. At least some of our music has this impassioned theme in certain songs. As women we feel the need to complete ourselves which is why we search for our mate. The mistress on the other hand is compelled to search outside of this completion which in itself is the wife’s mirror opposite. We distance ourselves from the mistress personification yet in the eyes of our admirers the hope is that they get a glimpse of her.

6. Muse-transmutation

Poetry and music speak of the dancer that takes her audience to places of sublime heights. As dancers we are the muses of our times. At the same time we experience the audience that doesn’t understand our dance and they try to alter it to fit their perception of the world. We than become a misunderstood version of our own poetry.

7. Diva-modest maid

A dancers self confidence has to come across to the audience or they will be sorely disappointed. Many fans expect a confident woman during and after shows. Yet I have found that dancers can almost believe too much in their personas that they create. We can get caught up in this illusion just as much as anybody. The catch here is to know when to turn your dance persona on and off.

As belly dancers we inspire so much in people and our allure isn’t just the pretty costume, it is what we signify as women.

My question is do we understand what it is that we represent for so many? I have worked with a few women who were disassociated from their body image. They had no clue how beautiful they were because they bought into mixed messages from the media and cultural attitudes. How comfortable are we in the position of the archetype for today’s women? If we can’t get past the door of self appreciation, than I don’t see us in the forefront of today’s feminine society. Let us not forget how immeasurable we are as women. Our dance helps us create our own personal myth in which we than can escape into our own feminine image.

I have often wondered that after creating our feminine image, do we than transform gradually into her? Isn’t this really what belly dance does? We heal and than become the women we are intended to be. This is how I believe the essence of belly dance lives and thrives through each generation of women. If we can understand our own image than we can be living examples of what belly dance is and the veils of illusion than become nothing more than invisible restraints that disappear through our own transformation. In this sense we than are reborn into women, who are comfortable in their own body, mind and spirit. And there is no better way to express our dance than by embracing who we are and dancing with veils of our choice.

Mystique Feminine Wipes

January 5th, 2009 by admin
Karen Stephens asked:

Perhaps one of the most difficult problems that women deal with is vaginal odor and discomfort. Many things, from menses, hygiene, life style, stress, exercise, and hormones; to diet and harsh cleansing products, can upset the delicate feminine system and cause embarrassing odor. Feminine odor, regardless of the cause, creates problems that extend beyond the physical aspects of the issue.

Women who are subject to embarrassing vaginal odor understandably find themselves worrying about the social and psychological aspects of the problem. It is difficult to feel personally confident during social interactions or in intimate situations when unpleasant odors get in the way. Even if these odors are not noticeable to others, their mere presence is enough to destroy a woman’s self-image. Not exactly the topic of casual conversation, many women are unsure of what to do to resolve the problem and which products are not only effective, but safe.

There are numerous products on the market developed specially to stop vaginal odor but these products fail to inform women how their use can likely make the problem worse or create an altogether new problem. The artificial ingredients contained in the majority of these products can upset the balance that a woman’s body maintains and can actually promote more discomfort, making what is obviously an uncomfortable situation, even worse.

Most feminine products such as wipes, creams, and douches, are formulated only to deal with the problem at hand – the immediate odor. Remember, most commercial products are designed to mask odor, not eliminate it. But, even worse, the ingredients within the products may actually aggravate the condition, forcing women to switch to other brands and products in order to find one that really works. While it’s always a relief to…well…get relief, the additional problems created by products that contain artificial fragrances, deodorants, detergents, and other chemical ingredients aren’t worth the price of the product.

Mystique Feminine Wipes are a new and unique product that provides more than temporary relief; a breakthrough in feminine hygiene application. This product provides what no other product currently on the market can match; a solution to the problem of feminine odor with a natural and healthy formula. These wipes were created by a gynecologist after extensive research and have been designed to alleviate the immediate issue without creating other problems. All natural ingredients in Mystique Feminine Wipes have been carefully selected to work with the delicate balance of a woman’s body.

Instead of temporarily masking feminine odor and discomfort, Mystique Feminine Wipes gently eliminate both problems while promoting feminine health. Imagine regaining personal confidence and promoting a positive body image with one product. These conveniently packaged and discreet wipes eliminate odor safely and effectively providing lasting freshness and confidence anytime, anywhere.

Feminine Tattoos - Things to Consider

January 5th, 2009 by admin
George Best asked:

While anyone considering getting a tattoo needs to do a little planning, women in particular should give some thought not only as to what the tattoo is going to be, but to where on the body it will be. It is important to take location into consideration to get a feminine tattoo that continues to look good over time.

Pregnancy and normal aging can cause changes in women’s bodies that produce more change in the elasticity of the skin in certain areas than what is typically seen in men. You don’t want a nice, pretty, feminine tattoo in a place where it is likely to be on sagging or stretch-marked skin. Not only do potential skin changes make some areas unsuitable, tattoos can draw attention to areas that you might want to be less noticeable at some point in your life.

For this reason, I suggest that women consider areas for their tattoos that are not subject to big changes in skin elasticity and tone. The ankle, back of the neck, low back, and shoulder blade areas work well in most situations. Another area where the skin tends to stay relatively firm is the forearms, but this area is more popular for masculine as opposed to feminine tattoos.

Although popular locations for tattoos with many women, the belly-button area and the breasts are subject to considerable distortion with the changes that tend to occur with pregnancy and aging. Even the pubic area can be susceptible to loosening of the skin, or some sagging of the lower belly from above, and so these areas might be better to avoid.

After you decide where to get the tattoo, the next decision is what to get. The first recommendation is to NEVER have someone tattoo the name of your lover anywhere on your body. No matter how good the relationship is right now, things can change!

There are many possibilities for feminine tattoos, so choosing can be challenging. The main thing is to pick something that you really like and not let yourself get talked into something you don’t want, because that tattoo will be with you for a very long time. Spend the time to study your options to figure out what you want - there’s no need to rush into anything.

If you are looking for an image such as a Celtic knot, a flower, or some other picture, simply keep looking until you find something that you really like. If you are considering an Asian letter or some kind of symbol, I recommend that you research it fully to be sure you know what it means. A single reference or a tattoo artist may give you incorrect information, and so instead of a symbol that means “gentle waters”, it could very well mean “puddle of urine”. Just be sure you know what it is that you are having permanently imprinted on your body.

Feminine Equality

January 4th, 2009 by admin
Andrew asked:

As soon as women are wearing make up and meeting the requirements to elusive beauty archetype, the feminine essence remains. Women were always placed lower men in the gender order. They wee always described as weak beings, which are not able to be in politics, as it needs much power and strengths.

With the dawn of rebellion against the traditional femininity in the 1929s, the categories of masculine and feminine should be abolished in order to build a productive society, based on shared aims and team spirit, as the success of good government lies in coordination between wale and female.

The power dealings in gender order still hang about the favor of men. Early feminists believed that femininity contrasted many women’s lived experience, but it was not regarded as forged ideology. Today, beauty is alike identical ideal and the consequences remain the same for dissenters as it did before the Liberation Movement. After this movement the essence of the beauty rooted in the society as integral part and ultimate symbol of womanhood. Finally, after the Feminist Movement the word equality achieved the meaning hat granted the similarity between men and women. Though women gained much by way of matter and legal obstacles, however, they remain aware that their bodies are examined. This exacerbation of women self –awareness has been facilitated through constant describing of women as beautiful objects. Speaking about femininity, one means only the best and the most beautiful features of women. The images of women, accessible to the modern society today that claim to correspond to new-found sexual freedom or celebrate our femininity are deceiving, as the feminine essence is a myth. Nowadays women are not only the symbol of clearness and embodiment of only good qualities. Their bodies are used as the product to decorate some commercial goods, showing only their bodies and look at women only as at the sex objects.

Get a Luxury Bathroom With Tips Toward the Ultimate Feminine Chic

January 4th, 2009 by admin
Clara Phillips Bal asked:

The rooms in a home often flow in style, reflecting one overall theme. Other people decide to take on a different approach with interior design, focusing on each different space in the home as individual and a chance to create new themes and exciting styles.

There are many different styles that are typically undertaken in the home although these conventional styles do often overlap. A common feminine look is romance and this is a style which has roots in childhood fairytale yet has progressed into grownup glamour. Romantic style is full of delicate pretty curtains and kitch ornaments. Romantic style also often overlaps with classic sophisticated contemporary chic.

One room which can really benefit from a cosmetic overhaul is the bathroom. This doesn’t mean that you have to put in a new bathroom suite; there are loads of little tricks to make your bathroom the stylish, clean and relaxing place it should be.

One way to brighten up the bathroom is a new lick of paint which doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. It’s just like putting a slick of foundation on your skin before a big night out; it leaves the skin tone looking even and rejuvenated, just like the walls in your bathroom will. Making one wall a feature wall with some good quality wallpaper can also make the overall bathroom appearance seem more lavish yet you’ll only need a couple of rolls. Using floral rich patterns always looks super sumptuous.

Tackling the rest of the room is generally quite easy as the walls are the main feature. Always keep carpet out of the bathroom! This is an absolute necessity as when the carpet inevitably gets wet it will become damaged and rot. A cheap way to sort the floor is to borrow an electric sander and then coat with waterproof varnish. You can then put down a fluffy luxury bath matt to finish off the look. Remove all nik-naks and shower curtains etc that are cluttering up the bathroom. This way you can achieve a completely blank canvas before you begin.

A good neutral colour to make your bathroom ultra feminine is white and this doesn’t have to be plain. There are loads of luxury fabric shower curtains in a fab new style which uses thick good quality material which attaches to clear plastic liner, resulting in a really luxurious shower curtain. You can get them in tons of styles but sticking to white will completely exude maximum femininity and you can get the luxury shower curtains in styles which have floral detailing and embedded patterns.

To prevent the bathroom from getting cluttered I would recommend getting two types of shelving. One cabinet for toiletries you don’t want on display. Cotton buds and tampons won’t fit in with the romantic style! Then one area of shelving which can have the odd pretty candle or ornament and also be a place to stack towels.

Buying new luxury towels is a great way to fully indulge the body and not just the decor, and you won’t want to hide these away so the whole look will be one of romantic chic femininity.

Embracing the Feminine in the Workplace

January 3rd, 2009 by admin
Randy Siegel asked:

Bang! Bang! My shiny metal cap gun sounded as I fired at the imaginary tribe of Indians invading my suburban Atlanta backyard. Two houses down the street, my childhood friend Shelly cuddled her brand new “Chatty Cathy” baby doll.

Growing up in the 50s, our roles were clear: women gather and nest, and men hunt and fight. I was sure that one day I would go into business, and Shelly would be a stay-at-home mom. Twenty years later, Shelly and I were both in business; I was working in a public relations agency, and Shelly had landed a terrific job in a large accounting firm.

It was the 80s, and to succeed in business, Shelly had to dress and act like a man. Shelly did well in business, but at a cost. She had to mask much of her femininity.

When Shelly’s daughter enters the business world three years from now, she will find a much different working environment than her mother. Business is increasingly embracing those attributes historically attributed to women. Hierarchy is being slowly replaced by teamwork, goals are balanced with process, and relationships are being valued as much as transitions. Feminine energy is slowly forcing masculine extremes toward the middle.

The image of business today is being altered, says futurist Faith Popcorn in her 1996 bestselling book Clicking. “(Business will be) no longer seen as a war to be won by trouncing the competition, but viewed as a complicated mosaic to be developed, one relationship at a time.”

In her book, Popcorn identifies a rising trend for solving business and relational problems with “feminine attributes” such as consensus building, sensitivity, and intuition.

Embracing the Feminine in the Workplace—Add One

She calls this new trend “FemaleThink” but is quick to point out it is not gender specific. FemaleThink may come more naturally to women, but men can master it as well.

Already, studies are showing that women managers are outperforming men in the workplace (Business Week, November 20, 2000). “In fact, it’s becoming evident that the most valuable skills one can have in twenty-first century business are those that women have historically possessed, those having to do with people and process and relationship and connection,” writes Matthew Gilbert in his book Communications Miracles at Work.

A more feminine way of communicating is being embraced in today’s workplace. According to Gilbert, a feminine communication and interaction style includes being:

More process-oriented; more patient; and more likely to see “shades of gray.”

More collaborative; less turf conscious; seeking the “win-win.”

Good listeners, facilitators, and coaches.

Open, sensitive, emotional, and empathetic.

Willing to admit mistakes and express concern and/or sympathy.

Business is increasingly rewarding employees for people skills as much as business skills. The reasons are simple: not only is the rising number of women in business influencing company communication, so is the marketplace. As the competition for the most skilled employees intensifies, smart companies are realizing the importance of interpersonal skills in attracting and retaining employees. In the future, only those companies that reward such communication skills as empathy, authenticity, vulnerability, and mutual empowerment will survive and thrive.

Embracing the Feminine in the Workplace—Add Two

The rising trend of “FemaleThink” doesn’t mean men need to be more like women. If that were to happen, we would be no better off than we were in the 80s when many women felt they had to act like men in order to compete in business. Instead, business is challenging both men and women to seek a stronger balance between inner masculine and feminine energies.

Businesswomen may benefit from training in strategic planning and selling skills, while men in business may benefit from training in such skills as listening, sensitivity to interpersonal differences, and giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Corporate cultures must blend the feminine with the masculine. Decisions must be made, but process must be respected. Connection must be as valued as much as competition. Leadership skills must be complemented by consensus building, and men and women must learn to respect each others’ styles and learn from one another.
